I'm already a member of Ning. The group I am a part of is http://teacherlibrarian.ning.com/ . I came across ning when I was looking at the website of Doug Valentine aka Dr. Loopy who is the librarian at the elementary in Melissa. Doug has done some awesome things with technology so I was digging thru his sites and came across this group. I have not had time to get very involved but the technology looks cool. I'm pretty much a lurker so far.
In opening this lesson and going directly to Ning.com, it welcomes me back. I did a search and found a couple more groups I might be interested in joining as I have time. The ALA group would be interesting as well as the Library 2.0 group.
